Open the Adguard DMG, do the control click to open the gatekeeper friendly version and follow instructions, then drag it into applications and open AdGuard. For me personally, I prefer the desktop app over the web player as the web player only has a limited set of features and the desktop app has all currently available features. If my PC app is open, and I'm playing spotify in the car (or anywhere else for that matter), but I have the current device selected, the song will repeat the first 20 seconds of the song on loop and continue to do this until the device I'm using is either set to offline mode OR I close the Spotify PC app. Ive found one that releases memory as soon as a tab is closed (Mozilla Nightly). The only thing that will play is whatever song was selected on a different device before the PC app boots up. The web player depends on the browser of your choice.
